Postdoc Research Associate
The RGC PDFS aims at providing promising local and non-local postdoctoral researchers at UGC-funded universities with support at a pivotal time in their very early career, so as to incentivise young research talent to build up a career in the field of research and development (R&D) in Hong Kong. For each PdF awardee, the basic salary will be HK$396,600 per year (approximately US$50,600), plus a conference and research-related travel allowance (of HK$12,600 per year inclusively) throughout the 36-month fellowship period. The ideal candidate is welcomed to contact Dr. Jiang regarding the following research directions: (1) membrane fabrication and applications in advanced water treatment/wastewater reuse, or (2) environmental nanotechnology, with emphasis on environmental behaviors and detection of engineered nanomaterials. Applicants with the above related experiences are highly welcomed, but exceptional candidates in broad environmental engineering will also be considered. The candidates should be highly motivated, and have a PhD. in environmental engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate is also expected to have proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship/University PhD Studentship
The prestigious HKPFS scheme aims to recruit outstanding graduates around the world, to Hong Kong, and will provide a tuition waiver, a monthly stipend of HK$26,600 (approximately US$3,430) and conference and research related travel allowance of HK$13,300 (approximately US$1,715) per year for awardees for a maximum period of four years. Graduates will also have the opportunity to be supported by the university PhD studentship.
